The polymers are water soluble, synthetic flocculants of high molecular weight based on Polyacrylamide. The polymer flocculants are also copolymers of acrylamide with acrylie acid and acrylic esters.
The polymer flocculants can be extensively used to increase the state of aggregation of suspended solid particles in any aqueous system to facilitate their removal. In many industrial process, municipal water treatment plants and sewage treatment plants, one encounters very finely suspended particles, which are extremely difficult to remove. The polymer flocculants can address this problem quite efficiently.
The polymers can either be used alone or in combination with inorganic primary coagulants like aluminium sulphate, lime, ferrous sulphate etc. It is therefore important to control the consumption of water, use water more efficiently and most importantly to treat & recycle the water used in industrial processes.

Laboratory – Standard Solution Preparation (O.10/0)
1. Weigh exactly 0.25 gm of product.
2. Measure 250 ml of distilled water and stir magnetically.
3. While stirring add very slowly 0.25 gm of polymer.
4. Continue stirring till all granules are dissolved till homogeneous solution is formed.
5. 1 ml of this standard solution when added to 1 litre of representative sample provides 1 ppm (1 mg / litre) dose concentration of the product.
Dosage & Feeding
Plant Feed Concentration:
For plant use we recommend 0.05% concentration of the product.
Polymer Feed System:
Successful performance of the product depends on the properly designed automated feed system. The dosing system should consist of tank of sufficient capacity equipped with agitator. For feeding Polymer granules, hopper with lid is necessary to ensure controlled addition of product and avoid absorptio of misture. It is recommended to dose the solution through metering pump.
Feed Point:
It is added in high turbulence areas in the plant to ensure high mixing energy and better contact of polymer with the imurities in the water.

Storage, Life & Safety
Under normal condition of storage it is stable for one year.
It is hygroscopic in nature & absorbs moisture from atmosphere under damp and humid conditions. Hence bags/container should be closed tightly and stored in cool, dark and dry place at ambient temperature.
It is non-hazardous, non-inflammable and non-toxic solid polymer. However caution must be exercised to avoid dusting while handling by using mask.
